Cow Comfort Management

Cow comfort is now known to be a critical factor in production and health of dairy cattle. One deciding criteria in cow comfort is the temperature-humidity index or THI. Smart Cattle environmental sensors quantify the THI in different areas of the farm. In addition, Smart Cattle tags quantify the time-budget of cows individually or within a barn, which again provides insight into their level of comfort. This information is then analyzed in Smart Cattle Application for improved management of cow comfort across the farm.
